Six New Parks Planned in Abu Dhabi

Six new parks have been planned for five areas in the capital at an estimated cost of Dh25 million.
One park each would be set up in Al Zafrana, Al Moushrif, Al Karama and Al Mahrba along the Arabian Gulf Street, and two in the Al Butain area, said Abdul Aziz Al Jeraishi, Director of Parks and Recreational Facilities Section in Abu Dhabi Municipality.

Bomb threat sees Etihad make diversion

A bomb threat note left in the toilets saw an Etihad flight bound for Islamabad forced to make a diversion to Karachi Airport yesterday.
Flight EY231, flown in an Airbus A330-200 was on-route from Abu-Dhabi, when a passenger on board discovered a note in a toilet which claimed there was a bomb on the aircraft.

Abu Dhabi's media free zone opens on Sunday

Abu Dhabi: A mega media park will be launched today to "create content by Arabs for Arabs," according to a senior executive.
"Abu Dhabi has the opportunity of becoming a creative hub for the media as well as arts and culture," Tony Orsten, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Media Park, told Gulf News.
