Medical will be quick however

sammymagic's picture

Medical will be quick however security can take time.. 2 to 5 weeks! Its a very long process so you just need to be patient.

They will do a background check of you in the Gulf region.

I am in the same situation and the company is a government company but still no faster!

Good Luck!

I don't think they would do that, as in your case you have outstanding, but did the bank reported you to your country police?

No, they didn't, in fact they cannot, in my country they don't have anything in their hands, no blank checks, they cannot go even legal. But still I am in process to sort it out, it will take a week, but who know I been verified before that, but you are sure they will not check credits in my country.

1 month

harshsharma6's picture

Dear Muzumal,
Congratulations on your selection.

After you have accepted the offer, the HR should contact you, telling you to get the medicals and degree attestation done. At the same time, they would ask you to provide all other relevant documents for the security clearance. Once you provide these documents along with the attested degrees, SC can take anywhere between 1 - 3 months. Followed by another 15 - 20 days for work visa.

I have also been selected for ADMA and have accepted their offer on 09th May 2012. However, I am still waiting for them to ask me for all the documents.

Have you completed your medical examination yet?

Thanks & Regards,

royraju135's picture

Dear muzumal2503,
Security clearance is really not in our hand,,its really the Almighty's kindness,,,cause people from differnt countries have differnt time frame,,,,and people from some areas in Pakistan also I heard will take more time for clearance,,,For you, dont take any decision from your current job untill get a clear message from ADCO,,,,the real time frame for getting Security clearance is only two weeks,,,but probably it will take 1-3 months,,,

All the best dear,,,

CID Approval

nurse_ph's picture

Good day!

Does CID Approval the same as the Security Clearance? What does having a CID approval means? I am presently working in a private hospital under a limited contract. Just this week i got an offer letter from a government facilty that i applied. Im done with the medical and police clearance and last week i was informed that the CID was approved. My question is.. Will I be able to leave my present company to join the government facilty without any problem with immigration? does having CID approval means that i am clear in immigration?

Hope someone can enlighten me. Thank you.

Any impact of security clearance on new passport?

karni999's picture

My current employer in Pakistan has received urgent short term assignments from different clients located in Qatar, Kuwait and Dubai. And HR is asking for the passport to get the visas. I am confused because my passport has 4 empty pages only. If I'll give them passport for visas it means almost all the pages will be used for stickers plus entry exit stamps.

My Abu dhabi clearance and approval is in progress based on the current passport. Can I go for the new passport? What will be the impact of the new passport on the recruitment process?

ContrcatEngg's picture

In acse your old pasport is getting filled, you can seek for additional papers in the current passport ( assuming , th epassport has teh validity) .

This is quite common with frequient travellers, I don see this should be issue. Please check with Passport issuing authority in your country.

Seanwilliam's picture

Hello all,

I'm in a bit of a strange situation. I work for a private company and have received and offer from a semi-government company.

I do not have a college degree as I am working on it part time, I do however have an attested high school diploma from a certified high school in abu dhabi.

I am an Iraqi with a Canadian passport who was born and raised in Abu dhabi. Will I have problems going through the visa issuance/ security check if I decide to change jobs and take the new offer?

CID clearance delayed

chiquita's picture

I feel the same sentiments you have guys. It has been almost a month since my documents have been submitted for CID approval but until now there's no news about it. I have asked the head of HR when can I have the approval but her answers aren't clear either. The problem is my contract will expire in the next 2 days and I stopped searching for another work since I was confident that I was hired by the government. A friend of mine who was hired also together with me had her approval already in just a week after submission. Now I am apprehensive that something might be wrong that's why there's no approval yet. The worst thing that could happen to someone is waiting and not knowing anything.

Does anyone know why there are instances that the approval is delayed? Thank for your help.

curiousAD's picture

@movingtome, thanks for the reply!

Well i had my face to face interview on 29th and 30th June and later on 8th July the HR contact told me she was preparing my offer letter and i was asked to send in more documents like previous payin slips, certificates of experience and also filled in an ID_form about my details (which to me seemed like a form they use for maybe security clearance/scanning ???) which i did but up to now i have never heard from them.
1) To get an offer in a govt company or like that institute, do they first do a security check or it comes later?
2) And how long can work permit processing take?

thank you so much everyone

Did they already tell you the outcome of the medical tests you took during your two-day interview at Abu Dhabi?
