UAE's new petrol prices from today

Last week the Ministry of Energy announced deregulation of fuel prices in the UAE, a new prices of petrol and diesel in the country will take effect today.

Starting 1st of August, 95 octane petrol (special grade) across fuel stations in the UAE will cost Dh2.14 per liter, up 24.4 per cent from the Dh1.72 per litre that we used to pay.

The super grade of petrol (98 octane) will cost Dh2.25 per liter, up 22.9 per cent from Dh1.83 per liter that we used to pay.

The ministry’s move to deregulate the fuel price came as per a decision issued by the UAE Cabinet based on a study submitted by the ministry.

Two things to keep on mind
1- The price will change every month, depending on the global price.
2- the price is standard across UAE.
