Abu Dhabi: The Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi announced on Wednesday that it will reduce Mawaqif paid timings during the Holy month of Ramadan.

The new paid timings throughout the Holy month will be spread out over two periods; from 9 am until 4 pm, and from 10:30 pm until 2:30 am. Mawaqif fees remain unchanged during the Holy month.

The move comes as part of DoT's strategy to provide effective car parking solutions to the public in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of facilitating their parking and travel needs during the holy month.
